KinKinetics at NASA HRP 2025

Advancing Neuroeconomic Decision Support for Long-Duration Spaceflight

The NASA Human Research Program (HRP) Conference 2024 convened leading researchers, astronauts, and industry experts to address critical challenges in human space exploration. KinKinetics was honored to present our pioneering work on neuroeconomic-based decision support systems for long-duration missions.

Our presentation focused on the integration of physiological monitoring, behavioral analytics, and real-time decision-making frameworks to enhance crew performance and well-being during extended spaceflight operations. The response from the HRP community validated the critical need for adaptive support systems that account for both cognitive load and emotional resilience in isolated, high-stakes environments.

Key Outcomes

  • Established dialogue with NASA pre-award research managers regarding funding pathways
  • Received technical feedback on integrating biometric sensors with decision-support algorithms
  • Identified collaboration opportunities with behavioral scientists and human factors engineers
  • Validated market need for neuroeconomic tools in astronaut support systems

Engagements with mission planners and former astronauts provided critical insights into operational constraints and crew dynamics. These discussions directly informed our product roadmap, emphasizing the importance of minimal-intervention interfaces and predictive analytics that anticipate performance degradation before it impacts mission objectives.

The conference facilitated strategic connections with research institutions and commercial space entities exploring similar problem domains. We are currently evaluating partnership opportunities to accelerate validation studies and technology maturation in relevant analog environments.

NASA HRP 2025 marked a significant inflection point for KinKinetics. The technical validation and strategic relationships established during this event provide a foundation for advancing our mission: enabling optimal human performance in the most demanding environments on Earth and beyond.
